                                           Frequently Asked Questions

1:    I only do outside art fairs using a tent. How will I handle an inside show?
Answer: We had taken this into consideration when designing the show. The Expo Center was specifically chosen because they would allow tents inside. If you can remove the top canvas, you will be able to illuminate your art much better, which you cannot do outside. If you cannot, then remember, you are getting double the space, which means any walls inside your tent and print displays can be moved outside allowing for a cleaner  view of your work. Additionally, you have the option to order electricity; so, you can hang lighting, another advantage of being inside.

2:    How do I get a corner booth so it is open on an additional side?
Answer: These can be ordered once your application has been accepted into the show. They are assigned on a first come basis.

3:    Why are you asking us to work on something while we are there?
Answer: Everything has two values, a real value and a perceived value. Many fair goers may not be knowledgeable about the creation process. When they can see with their own eyes something being created,
their appreciation increases and the perceived value of your work also increases. Secondly, it helps eliminate the 3 second rule. It is generally understood that with people walking through an art fair that you have about 3 seconds to catch their eye. We have tried to extend this by allocating twice as much space and openness. If you can get people to slow  down or stop to see what you are doing, you have captured their attention for a more significant length of time.

4: My art is digital and I  cannot show at most art fairs. Will this show support my work?
Answer: This show is very conducive to digital and any other
electrical base work. The venue is indoors; so, you do not have to worry about rain and electrical hook-ups are available.

5:   What about performance art? Would we be welcome?
Answer: Generally the answer is yes. Depending upon the nature of the work space can be allocated inside or outside the Expo Center.

6:  What about galleries,
will they be having displays?
Answer: No. The show is designed to help individual artists who cannot usually get an inside show that the galleries spend thousands to be in. However, we will be reaching out to galleries to have them attend; so, that they can review your work and determine if it is a fit for their clientele.
