We have heard from many artists who have labeled themselves as "emerging artists". They seem to be frustrated by the lack of spaces available to them in art fairs but, more importantly what is for them, the prohibitive costs. The only equitable solution we could offer them is as follows. The interior space of the Expo Center is reserved for those artists who have passed the juried process and fortunately can afford to do shows at this point in their careers.
Even though we have, probably, offered the lowest cost per square foot to attract "emerging artists", many are still left out. Thus, we will allow those artists to rent an exhibition space in the lower cost outside " The Avenue of the Arts" (10X10). This may not be ideal, however, it will give them exposure to a show and, hopefully, act as a catalyst for their creative "juices".
